It's been some time.
I thought I'd scribble something while I wait for Channel 7's local news to come on and bring us some old news. For a TV station, they really are slow on the uptake sometimes. Recently, they managed to get a piece about Vernon Ah Kee's work at Kickarts on screen only 5 days after they had filmed him at the opening. I've noticed they save stories for days when there are just not enough fires or car crashes to pad out the bulletin. And someone has got to tell Rob to do something with that hair, like, cut it off. It makes MacKenzie's rug look real!
Scott "Squint" Forbes and Amanda Two Very Large Hearts were at Bella Vista last Friday night bringing some much needed "media" presence among the tradies and plebs at MediaMix. Seriously, it has become so dull that even Councillor Forsyth and her hangers-on don't turn up anymore, and we all know she'll attend anything.
Roger "Ace" Dickson has had one blue too many with Captain Webster down at the Post and has taken the Long Walk. Poor Andrew's sinking ship gets lighter every day. Perhaps this is how he intends to keep it afloat. Did anyone ever think they would miss Alexander?
Don't worry, Circusmouse hasn't gone all gossipy. But there's definitely a change of pace recently in Clown Town. The Mayor hasn't goofed for a while, the bloggers have run out of puff chasing red Mazdas around, and the duds at TTNQ have realised their gravy train has left.
And finally, what's the outrage with this water park? For 3 months a year, the whole area IS a water park! It looks like personalities have got in the way of reason. Again.
Oh, and I almost forgot. The US Navy is bringing some 700 walking wallets to town, just to piss off one taxi driver. Talk about overkill.
